Following a devastating fire to the penthouse of this iconic Glasgow building, Alexander Anderson were tasked with the immediate work required to stabilise the building and clearance of all fire damaged debris.

The main re-instatement works were then awarded and acting as Principal Contractor, Alexander Anderson mobilised the services of all trades required to undertake the £1.5m project. Both Penthouses required a complete rebuild to the original specification whilst, as a result of smoke and water damage, the entire property had to be fully re-decorated with some properties requiring new internal walls. Full compliance with Health and Safety legislation was achieved with all works being fully risk assessed and with each work activity having its own specific method statement.

The project was completed on time and within the monetary guidelines as specified by our client.
