Health and Safety Consultant

We are seriously committed to Health and Safety, being a member of Chas we employ our own H&S expert to ensure safe working practice at all times. We carry out weekly general tool box talks and inspections.

Mobile Roof Anchors

We employ best safety practice for all roof works using Mobile Roof Anchors as standard. Our staff have been trained and understand working at heights regulations and can carry out repairs on pitched roofs

Our roofers are health and safety legislation proficient and employ safe working practices at all times

Working with Asbestos

Alexander Anderson employees have been certified to Category 2 approved Code of Practice L143 "Work with Materials Containing Asbestos". This means our electricians, builders, plumbers, carpenters and other trades have been trained to identify asbestos that does not require a license. We can safely work on or near most aspects of potentially hazardous asbestos materials including drilling, removing, repairing, painting, enclosing and cleaning

In accordance with Regulation 10, paragraphs 124-130 inclusive. This includes appropriate Working Procedures outlined in the HSE publication HSG 210 "Asbestos Essentials Task Manual".
